Thomas Ostermann resigns from the management of CELLS Group

Thomas Ostermann, Managing Director Asset Management at CELLS Group, will leave the company at the end of 2022 to take on a new professional challenge as of 2023.

CELLS Group, which emerged from the merger of the project developer CELLS Bauwelt and the asset manager CELLS Property Investors, will place its entrepreneurial focus on value-add and core-plus investments with medium-term development potential in the A-locations of German metropolises. In the course of Thomas Ostermann's departure, the structure of the company will be adapted even more consistently to this strategic orientation. As of immediately, Andrea Zengler will assume responsibility for asset management in addition to her previous role as managing director responsible for property management.

"On behalf of the shareholders, the advisory board and the management team, I would like to thank Thomas most sincerely for his outstanding work for our company over the past years. I personally regret Thomas' decision to take on a new challenge in another company after seven years. We went through the challenging COVID period together, were able to conclude exciting lease agreements under difficult conditions, implemented a new strategy for the CELLS Group together and successfully started to implement it. I wish Thomas much fun and success for his next professional step," says Jan Trenn, CEO of CELLS Group.

"I am grateful to have been able to contribute to the successful development of CELLS Group over the past seven years. This period was characterised by the change to a multi-family office as well as the associated organisational development and a consistent focus on value-add investments. In particular, I would like to thank the shareholders and the advisory board as well as my management colleagues, but also all employees, who have accomplished so much for the company," says Ostermann.
