CELLS Group has acquired the office building “Fährstraße 1” near the “Media Harbour” in Düsseldorf on behalf of an international investor. The 9,000-sqm property has a number of long-term tenants, including the Fresenius University of Applied Sciences and the Median rehabilitation facility. The seller is a fund affiliated to London-based Marathon MCAP Global Finance, a subsidiary of Marathon Asset Management, which is headquartered in New York. Throughout the structured sales process, Marathon was exclusively advised by Anteon. HFK Rechtsanwälte PartGmbB, Munich, acted as legal advisor on behalf of CELLS Group. Anteon has been responsible for the letting under a lead broker mandate and had successfully repositioned the property and achieved full occupancy.
